Coffeeshops receiving HOP invoices
Coffeeshop operators are receiving invoices from the Horeca Development Platform (HOP). This raises questions: what is the invoice based on, what do you get in return and is there any obligation to pay? We have bundled these signals from our members and raised them.
What you can do now
- Check which agreement or registration the invoice is based on.
- Keep the correspondence and do not pay automatically if the basis is unclear.
- Report unclear or unexpected invoices to us so we can raise the pattern.

Talks with KHN reopened
As BCD we have reopened talks with Royal Dutch Hospitality (KHN). Our aim is recognition of coffeeshops as regular hospitality operations: the same position, the same access to business support and the same clarity about costs and services as other hospitality entrepreneurs.
