Friday 15 February 2019, the THC report 2017-2018 was released.
The average THC content in the most popular Dutch cannabis sold in coffeeshops (16.8%) remains unchanged compared to last year. Looking back slightly further, a minor increase is visible over the past 5 years. For imported hashish, the average content has never been so high (23.5%); this level is much higher than five years ago (the average in 2014 was 14.9%). This is likely due to the increased use of plants of Dutch origin in Morocco.
