Entrepreneurs running a tolerated Dutch coffeeshop can become a member. Registration is done via the sign-up form; the board then contacts each applicant personally to discuss the application.

What are the tolerance conditions (AHOJ-GI) that coffeeshops must comply with?

The national tolerance criteria are: no Advertising, no Hard drugs, no public Nuisance, no sales to Youth under 18, a maximum of 5 Grams per transaction and access only for Residents of the Netherlands (in municipalities that enforce the residents criterion). Municipalities may impose additional conditions.

The Coffeeshopkeurmerk and the Bond cooperate on quality and professionalisation of the sector, while each retains its own responsibilities. Membership of the Bond does not automatically grant an account on coffeeshopkeurmerk.com.
